Sirtec specializes in difficult parts with complex geometry. We hold patents for molds that can produce partial solid, partial hollow parts--a unique characteristic for rotational molding. Sirtec also has three-ply machines capable of producing triple layer parts for fuel tank applications. We can manufacture low quantity orders or high volume parts to best suit your needs.
T.R.I.P. Molding
Sirtec developed a special molding process called Transfer Rotation Injection Process (TRIP) molding. Custom built molds go into the oven where they are cooked. Immediately after exiting the oven, the TRIP mechanism is engaged causing the mold to squeeze hollow sections of the part together to form a solid part. It then enters the cooling chamber where it continues to cure and cool.
The TRIP molding process allows Sirtec to produce semi-solid parts, solid parts, live hinges, and parts with solid protrusions.
